Our needs and wants are more important than those of other species. If earth"s resources become scarce, humans would look for alternatives, improvements in technology, scientific advancement. Humans, being the most important species in the world, should think of their needs as such. Acknowledges the importance of biosphere in human life. Humans are species of the planet and should be good care takes or stewards of the planet. Be careful to not go too far in polluting our resources. Economic growth is good but it can go too far; there needs to be some sense of regulation. You are at the top and the world/ ecosystem is below you. We are not needed to manage the planet; life could go on without us. Role in the world- not human centered. Our role is not to protect the world- we are simply a part of it. We are not important or distinct from other organisms of the planet.
