The light did not actually move, but due to an illusion, seems to move about 2-4 inches. Dates later, participants judged the light again. Gave answers out loud with other people. Conforming out of a genuine belief that they are right. People used the group estimate when they judged the lights again when alone . Eyewitness identification: picking suspects out of line-ups. High importance: real test of eyewitness identification ability, son to be use by police and courts, highest scorers would receive for accurate identification.
