Mood sensitivity and trigger symptoms of depression and anxiety. Trouble concentrating and remembering or making decisions. Lack of eating or eating too much, smoke and drink more. Things that are good things but taxing, like coming to college, marriage, having children, picking a job. Said we need this stress to help motivate ourselves for things like studying. Create a tremendous need to adapt and adjust. Causes extreme stress but does not happen often, not everyone experiences this. Found that as stress increases there is a significant effect on mental and physical health. Urgent demands or expectations from outside source. Things like deadlines, things that are out of your control. Degree of control over event or situation. The level of control a person has, effects the stress level.
