Source (or resource) = other peoples’ original thoughts, ideas, writings, etc.
Always, when drawing upon sources for your writing,
whether summarizing, paraphrasing or quoting, you
must acknowledge the source with an in-text citation
and include the source in your references page.
✓ Purdue Owl is your best source for all things relating to references and citations etc. etc.
Is it plagiarism? What needs cited? What does not need cited?

Quality of Internet and Other Sources:
Distinguish between fact and opinion. Where did this information come from? Should we pick
up a sandwich off of the street and eat it without knowing where it came from? Of course, not.
It is the same with information we use for research. We need to verify that the source and
information is of “academic quality”.
