People may create personal websites or forums and post about their family, friends, jobs or some other subject matter. As of 2018, the world has more than 1. 8 billion sites, all of which are shielded by freedom of expression and anti-censorship rules. Site owners may publish whatever they want, real or not, without having to think about the consequences (conners, 2020). For so much knowledge and very little oversite it can be a difficult challenge to assess which material is accurate. But failing to do so might leave you feeling dumb or even worse. Fortunately, there are a few simple steps that can be taken to assess a site"s legitimacy while doing a research.
