Sentencing: sentencing decisions do not reflect the goal or protecting society from only or the most dangerous of those convicted by meting out punishments proportionate to the harmfulness of the crime committed. All taken together: criminal justices policy decisions reflect the implicit identifications of crime wit the dangerous acts of the poor in media. A desire to harm vs. a desire for profit. One-on-one harm"s intention is the hurt someone. Indirect harm is intended to maximize profit & minimize cost sustain power.
