Document Summary

Justice is based on two factors which are the things that are being distributed and the person to whom the things are assigned to. Justice means to give people what they are deserving of. In general, people who are equal should have equal things assigned to them. For example, in the case of the auctioning on the world"s rarest violin, it is just to distribute the violin to the best violinist. This is because it is a relevant asset for the violinist in comparison to the wealthy individual who simply wants it to place it in a museum. Although the wealthy individual may surpass the violinist in factors such as birth in a specific class or wealth, for the violinist, the right to be considered according to factors within one"s control must be accounted for.
