Femoral Triangle: pyramid shaped depression formed by the muscles in the proximal regions of
thigh
Popliteal Fossa: Diamond shaped region posterior to the knee
Tarsal Tunnel: tunnel to the foot
Veins: Deep veins follow the arteries (femoral, gluteal, obturator)
- Superficial veins lie in the subcutaneous tissue exterior to the fascia lata
Varicose veins: have become enlarged
- Leaflets of valves do not meet properly and valves do not work
- Blood flows backwards and enlarge more
Tarsal Tunnel: located on posteromedial side of the ankle
- Includes flexor, extensor, fibular retinaculum
Plantar fasciitis: inflamed apernoreous
Bunions: medial metatarsophalangeal joint deforming
