The face: a glance at someones face can be enough to make surprisingly accurate judgements of the degree to which someone is dominant or submissive, hetero or homosexual, how much profit a company makes. Apparently it is possible to tell whether a person is high or low in two traits- extraversion and agreeableness- just from looking at their face. Four moderators of accuracy and the realistic accuracy model (ram) Moderates= changes the correlation between a judgement and its criterion. The good judge early studies showed that a good judge in one context or one trait might not be a good judge in another. Someone who appears to be invested in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships. Female, intelligent and conscientious, socially oriented, describe others in favourable terms, motivated. The behaviour of such people tends to be consistent.
