Document Summary

Do your duty because it is your duty. I"m not gonna do my duty just because it"s my duty. Much like our ethics, you do indeed feel many different things. We do our duties because you decide you should do your duty. Most humans are self conscious except small children or ones with brain damage, we are aware of ourselves and our feelings. Reflexivity: look inside and wonder what"s going on here. Is there something that makes me want to believe and go with my feelings. Some philosophers like bentham and some emotivists believe that so called human rights are just merely words people use even though there"s no such thing. Thomson influenced how we think about abortion. Humans, people, and fetuses have rights to life. Not everybody has the right to life (criminals etc), all innocent people do though. Famous violinist- he has a right to life but doesn"t mean he can use you.
