Much of our picture of socrates comes from plato"s early dialogues. Plato was interested in drama; thus the form of writing. Most are probably not accurate recordings of events, but dramatizations socrates in prison. Socrates first asks about the strength of his principles. You shouldn"t worry about the many bc the many are foolish and there are very few that actually know what they are saying. The way you would go to a physical trainer to train your body, you would go to an expert to train your soul. You could be going to someone, who claims they"re an expert, but they"re not. Go to expert to train your soul. There are objective facts to what it is to be good. There"s a truth is what is good. All relative to where you are, what you are, when you are.
