influence our individual and collective political opinions. The different techniques used to gauge

The public opinion is the collective attitudes and beliefs of individuals on one or more
issues compared to the opinion polls are the scientific effort to estimate what an entire group
thinks about an issue by asking a smaller sample of the group for its opinion. The reason why
public opinion matter is because the government legitimacy rest on the that the government
exists to serve the interest of its citizens. The public opinion maters because politicians act as

because the criticism do not participate enough. Something that influences our opinion about
politics, political socialization which is the process by which we learn our political orientation
and allegiances. Patriotism is a strong emotional attachment to one’s political community. The
differences in public opinion race, gender, partisanship and ideology and economic self-interest.
Something else that influences the public opinion s education, religion and geographic region.
Measuring and tracking public opinion is the learning about public opinion without sample and

A political party is a group of citizens united by ideology and seeking control of
government in order to promote their ideas and policies. The roles of parties in a democracy are

the opposition. Parties in the democracy have three components of a party in the American
government. The first one would be the party organization which is the official structure that
conducts the political business of parties. The second component would be party-in-government,
which is where the members of the party who have been elected to serve in the government. The
third component would be the party-in-the-electorate which is the ordinary citizens who identify
with the party. The responsible party model of each party represents a coherent set of programs
to voters, consistent with its ideology and clearly different from those of the other party, with
candidates pledging to support and implement their party programs elected. Both voters and
politic leaders provide accountability by making sure that representatives follow the platform.
The parties are standing for party ideology, party membership and policy differences. Party
platform is a list of policy positions the party endorses and pledges its elected officials enact. The
forces to drawing the parties apart and pushing together toward the pull factor toward extremism.
