What makes you an individual, regardless of the social context. Social focuses on how most people would react in each situation, generally. Social cognition how we think about others (attributions, attitudes, and behavior) Social influence how we are influenced by others or by the social situation we"re in (conformity, obedience, group influence) Social interactions positive and negative aspects of relating to others (relationships, aggression, conflict, and cooperation, prosocial behavior) If we just accept information that we"re told, we wouldn"t learn more. Think of new questions we can research we are surprised by behavior. Skeptical not everything we read is true! Know your sources and that there are errors in research. Objective remain as free from bias as possible. There are always biases; you must be open to new evidence.
