Document Summary
Given the context and diagnosis made during the bureau sessions, we believe that two time horizons should be taken into consideration: a long-term look and short-term objectives. The following are the development of content worked in the sessions of the bureau in relation to t he long-term view, and then introduce the short-term objective and the mechanism proposed by the participants. To do this we identify your needs and opportunities, which are presented below: water safety challenges. We understand the need to consider water safety in relation to three relevant dimensions when considering water resources: water availability, water quality and risk management: water availability. In this sense, the participants relegate the social and aesthetic value of the glaciers, while highlighting the need to clarify the role that glaciers play in providing water for the basins of the aconcagua, Mapocho and maipo rivers, in relation to others sources.
