Crowd is larger mixed-sex group of older children/adolescents who have in age, gender, race, and interests similar values and attitudes and are known by common label. Permissive/neglectful parents are more likely to have kids who are loners or not popular. Most groups have a dominance hierarchy with leader to whom all other members of group defer.
