Hypothesis: ideas about how things work a proposed explanation for one or more observations. Hypotheses are subject to much testing, so therefore they must be testable. Supernatural: not constrained by any laws of nature and its behavior cannot be predicted using our current understanding of the natural world. Hypotheses must also be falsifiable, or able to be proven false. Any statement that involves judgment cannot be a hypothesis (morality, ethics, etc) 1982: robin warren and barry marshall found the cause of stomach ulcers by drinking the bacteria themselves. Their hypothesis is now a fact because there is no evidence against it and it has been supported as well after much testing.
