They respond to something that is very stressful and have symptoms that resemble those of a heart attack, without the blockage of blood flow. There is, however, a flow of stress hormones that strike the heart muscle which then gets soft and weak. The blood can no longer squeeze and pump blood effectively. Guy had a heart attack because one of the members of his team fumbled. Research shows that for people who have underlining cardiac risk factors, an episode of stress can cause a heart attack.
