Idea that organized gendered- consequence for women who work them. Tokenized: numerical minority, some point of status (gender, race, ethnicity, sex, etc) Minority where majority has some sort of power. Power behind workplace also in society at large. Hinges of visibility, gay when no one else is everyone knows. Token (in specific setting) yet has higher status in society - likely certain advantages that occur to them. Not same as male in all female setting and female in all male setting. Token but advantage b/c of values of masculinity. Williams: men in more women jobs, saw man had advantaged, feminized professionals.
