Primacy effect: the ability to remember information at the beginning more easily but can be removed if there"s a distraction as the information is presented the new information isn"t as new or engaging. Recency effect: the ability to remember information at the end more easily when you"re distracted after you"ve been presented information, echoic information go away. Primacy effect stays with us for a long period of time. The only thing that seems to stay for the longer ride.
