Way to be on top or seem strong. The words women use are more soft dainty . People with different backgrounds speak in a different way. Different races speak in different tones/ use different words. Some people may argue that they do not have accents. We have certain stereotypes about how people in other regions talk. Regional patterns affect the way we speak. We all have certain items that don"t translate or overlap with the terms of other groups or regions. These specialized sets of terms and distinctions that are particular important to certain groups are focal vocabulary.
