A specific condition that invites discourse to alter its reality. A thing which is other than it should be. Meditator of the change that the discourse functions to produce. Person, events, objects, and relations that have the power to affect decisions and actions needed to modify the exigence. Communication is the process by which a sender and a receiver exchange information. It could be a message, gesture, letter, etc. How much information is given in one time. Information usually flows from top down (oppressive at times) The unwritten but known assumptions that are know about the particular environment. Face-to-face (riches form of communication because it is visual & synchronized) not always the best way to communicate. Technology/computer/text communication-very limited in its delivery because of its limitations. Mind the technical and cultural languages because your audience may not speak them. High-context cultures are those that communicate in ways that are implicit and rely heavily on context.
