Harvest fish, meat, fruit and berries, and nuts; (seasonal cycle: settlement allowed for humans to stop chasing, searching for food and spending less time moving around, and there is much more predictability in food process. Planting crops, tending to livestock allowed for greater output of resources. Allowed for selective breeding for higher yield.
