Scientific racism: when scientists use the techniques of their trade to contruct hierchies of racial difference that are predicate on social beliefs about race. The belief tha toe"s own nation and culture are superior to those of others. It is the process in which people are viewed and judged as essentially different interms of their intellect, their morality, their values, and their worth because of differences of physical type or cultural heritage. Racialization: the contruction of certain groups of people as biologically superior or inferior. Prejudice: the pre-judgement of others on the basis of thheir group membership.
