Humans perceive, think, emote and behave simultaneously; they are cognitive, conative anf motoric, all at the same time. Views cognition and emotion integratively, with thought, feelings, desires and actions interacting with each other. Considers the importance of both mind and body of thinking, feeling and wanting of behaviour. People are born constructivists and have considerable sources for human growth. They are in many important ways able to change their social and personal destinies. They have powerful innate tendencies to think irrationally and to defeat themselves. Emphasizes flexible thinking and behaving that helps individuals remove the rigidities to which they often easily fall victim.
