Document Summary

The meaning interpretation of what we picked up by our sensory input. What we perceived in the video was a result of both auditory and visual input. The brain is changing to adapt to a stimulus, eg- how we feel the rubber hand is her hand, this is also known as neuroplasticity. Form perception the question is how we recognise objects as something, if its a vase or a face. We see things together when they are similar. We see objects on the basis of how much distance is there between the objects eg seeing rows because there is more distance. We see objects as how they are in continuity. Our mind tends to fill in gaps between objects and perceives them as full. Shapes and item which are similar are usually grouped together. We saw the circles as two groups of circles and not them individually. We only take in information which has a fixed template.
