This is a pattern of obsessive behaviours that belong to a certain categories of behaviour. Classification: dsm-v it is the bible for clinicians and psychologists or anyone who intervenes with someone with a psychological disorders. We have to label to understand the extremity of the disorder a recognized illness. The usefulness of labels is a much better way in which we understand mental disorders. Medical model: we think of mental disorders as diseases this is a progression over their religious understanding.
