Look to the side of where it is, not directly at it, can see it with peripheral vision. Visible from southern hemisphere (sky looks completely diff) Named after colonists going through the straits of magellan. Large magellanic cloud is the campsite of an old man. Small magellanic cloud is campsite of his wife. The couple, jointly known as jukara, had grown too old to feed themselves, so other star-beings bring them fish from the sky river" (milky way)
