Social network sites and connectivity - the idea of using social networking sites to stay connected. Personality plays a huge role in whether or not we benefit on internet use. Over time, trend towards social networks has further challenged this question of sociability. Social network services like facebook or twitter are internet based services that allow individuals to create semi public or fully public profiles where they can identify, communicate and track other users they share a connection with. Tracking people down, trackin people who don"t know we are tracking, the idea of going online, and seeing what people are doing to see what they are doing creeping . Current research has focused on sns (especially fb) usage amongst extraverts, introverts and neurotics. Extraverts: 70% + of the population who desire and require a high degree of social connectivity - the majority.
