Sense of belonging and a private place that could exists in different scales. This ideal of home is in fact the symbol that we use even when it is not our shelter. It is about a sense of a starting place it is what ground us from the chaos of the world. It is cognitive place, it is where they orientate themselves to the rest of the word and there is also a literal sense of home. It is personal, home is where the heart is. A sense of a starting place and safety comes from that familiarity. Feeling home sick that you are somewhere where is is unfamiliar. Starting place and ending place is home base. It has a sense of an origin and a place where you return to. We use that term as being more authentic, more person and less commercial. The safety comes from knowing the person who made it.
