Written to show anthropology in a different way. This is the way anthropologists wrote about cultures in the 1950"s. 1950"s- anthropologists write one large book about a culture and people are expected to believe that. Now- multiple books on one culture to better understand and try to establish ideas on the culture: worldview. Culturally specific understanding of how the world works; formed through interpretation: interpretation. The process of creating meaning out of experience: cultural relativism. Understanding cultures on their own terms, without judging or evaluating. Understanding cultures on their own terms, without judging or evaluating: ethnocentrism.
