We use words to degrade women in articles but we are only allowed a limited amount of words to degrade men in an article without it getting published. When we are talking about masculinity it is always heterosexual. We are always talking about white straight men. We spend a lot of time making sure that we still have this divide. We use this language as courage and subordinating women. It is about power and strength whole family. Any women who has taken care of children is strong. We find ways of diminishing their reputation somehow. Images of a firefighter who comes through the door and is strong and able to save so(cid:373)eo(cid:374)e is al(cid:449)ays see(cid:374) as a (cid:862)(cid:449)hite (cid:373)ale(cid:863) Most women know nothing about their bodies.
