The second world war and europe: reconstruction and rivalries. Was an attempt to gather jews and put them into ghettos. Einsatzgruppen job was to enter the occupied territories of the soviet union to kill jews and communist party of cials. A lot of these killings were local matters. When the inmates arrived at camp they were split into labour groups or were sent to chambers. The bodies were then taken out of the gas chambers and to a crematoria. In the rest of occupied europe the nazis ability to succeed were dependent on cooperation. 2/3 of the prewar jewish population died. 1941 was when they became an active participant. His opinion that the british is ghting an important battle, however american is in no position to join yet, must wait for american public support. Lend-lease is in place before the us joined the war. Coalition is formed between russia, us, and britain. The allies agreed to an unconditioned surrender.
