Advertisement: tells us something (ad, product packaging, etc. ) Indebtedness: can"t save as much $, might have to adjust your budget, etc. Feel alienated: the product doesn"t do what the ad promised it would do for you. Manipulates us into buying w/ little reflection: can become a compulsive disorder/full-blown addiction. The industrialized world makes up 20% of the world population.
