Unequal friendship can be alleviated through labour, loyalty or entertainment. You can"t rely on the polis or empire to help you, just your family or friends. Human nature: human beings are socially constructed and made by society , human beings are born with certain characteristics . Othering: we need an adversary to put all the bad things on and a good option for the positive things. To be isolated is not to be human. Gods intervene in people"s minds and lives, have the ability to plant ideas in our heads. Men and women are reasonable and capable of a good life but women are not capable. Talented males look for honour and status and establish it to lead society. Female inferiority is set in physical inferiority, who can fight? of taking command and leading. The ability to use violence in an honourable fashion under a code of honour is denied to women.
