Principles supporting or granting the right to nations to create states on their own. World can easily be divided up into various nations. Easily identifiable = categorization process is straight forward. Nations are durable, there"s a foundation, an essence to them. Focused on language as the key binding force of nationalism according to herder. Nations build in the modern era on a little bit of historical foundation. Modern era, nations are formed - based on existing patterns and ethnics.
