You can be certain of what you know from the senses. Reason it self can provide absolutely certain foundations. Believe that senses can be illusions -- you cannot rely on your senses. Individuals are capable of living a private life that no others have access to. Something has been revealed to these people. Certain persons are empowered to know and to speak the truth on fundamental matters. More like an attitude -- you can grow up thinking your parents are always right. Trusting in someone and believing they know what is right and wrong. Ex. scientism, religious dogmatism, divine command theory. If you believe in a book you believe whoever wrote it is write (or in authority)
