This lack of knowledge and persistence of stereotypes contributes to aboriginal peoples" marginalization within our society. We can learn a lot about childhood, adolescence, and the social determinants of health and healing through these experiences. These issues are difficult, but important to learn about. If you feel triggered or really upset, feel free to take a breather outside. This isn"t about making anyone feel guilty or bad". It"s about acquiring knowledge and insights into a sensitive set of issues that continue to impact millions of citizens in our country. It"s also about putting new seeds out there" for you.
