Spatial strategies of exercising power exclude; include; contain; expel: sites of struggle. Class, "race"/ethnicity, gender, sexuality: cultural is politics. Social & therefore power relationships are created & practiced in, over & through space. In other words, cultural landscapes & cultural identities are politically-charged: the role of space & places, sites of struggle.
