Non natural means of soil erosion include humans altering the landscape: understanding of soil erosion is how water interacts with the landscape and its effect on these surroundings. Dust bowl: fine example of wind erosion, due to lack of vegetation. In some events soil will greatly erode and the soil levels may drop a great many amount of meters. One way water does work is through the movement of rain drops. These raindrops disturb the surface and move soil particles in the region. Water erosion will erode fields, drainage pumps may cause certain places to erode more. The river system across this will carry the soil as such as the water flow across the region will cause this. Volcanic cliffs will be heavily eroded (generating surfaces that look as if they have had rivers flowing along them) and in. Hawaii this is due to the many meters of precipitation.
