Def: development that meets the economic, social, cultural and environmental needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Def: a process where community members come together to take collection action and generate solutions to common problems. How would you equalize the power for each representatives. Write it down and put it in a sack and have one neutral person read it. A lot of the time, the men are the only ones permitted to make decisions. Def: overall objective of gender equality is a society in which women and men enjoy the same opportunities, rights, in all spheres of life. Opportunities in all things in a community: jobs, clubs, politics. Opportunity to do any of that and have equal representation despite gender. It"s not just a north american thing or a colonial thing.
