Eugenics a comprehensive programme affecting: family policy, immigration policy, sterilization policy, was the great success story. Sterilization policy is the one that went the furthest well before the national socialist did anything. Men want to control women, control fertility. Wasn"t the whole story as there are some states that male sterilization exceeds women sterilization. Another thought: racism: in us, it wasn"t racism till 1970s. Classism: whether or not you ended up sterilised, class is more realistic than racism. Key institution in which sterilization occurred superintendent. In indiana, ohio, mississippi, pennsylvania, virginia and california. Superintendent lobbied the government directly in favour of forced eugenics sterilization and they mainly held right in bills. When bills are passed, they can choose how many and who gets sterilised.
