Eugenics is a board ideology, science of encouraging breeding among the fit whilst discouraged breeding among the unfit. The feeble minded are outbreeding the healthy people. They believed that the national intelligence level was declining due to this fact. Due to these ideas 66 000 people were sterilized in united stated. Progressive conservatives originally supported these ides and then they spread. Family policy: encouraging breeding within highly intelligent families. Immigration policy: welcoming immigrants from superior countries and backgrounds. Feminist believed that this was a war on female sexuality. But this was not the whole story because in some states male sterilization outnumbered the female sterilization. Some people believe that this was a classist programme, which is closer to the truth because if you had money, the government would not find you. Most of the people who were sterilized were poor. This was most definitely institutional issue where the super intendants of mental institutions chose who would get sterilized.
