Can begin with individual or group lobbying and or taking action. Ngos can be useful: mobilize lots of people, go out to the people and the government. The more land that can be preserved, the better: tried and true strategy. Obtained through donations as well as through purchases. Private nonprofit organizations based entirely on this to protect land and natural resources. Revolving land program: a landowner can sell their land to ducks unlimited who will restore it and put it on the market again.
