The two human sexes are very diferent even though 90% of genes are shared between the 2 sexes. Shared genes but most issues difers between sexes: more evident in gonads but is seen in other issues like the liver and the brain. Tons of variaion in gene expression: in lies, 50-90% in ly genome are expressed diferently in the sexes. Frigate bird has huge red inlated ballon in chest. Male widow birds have really long tail that is ornamented or may have fancy tones: females are brown and boring and look the same between each of the widow bird species, males are very diferent across species. Variaion among species is driven by diferences in males and females. Greater sage-grouse bird has inlatable sacs that they use to atract mates. Have lecs, the males in each lecs are not the ones who atract most of the mates. Male elephant seals compete to dominate a beach.
