Document Summary

They have 2 ranges, the summer range and the winter range. The problem is that to move from one area to another, they have to move through natural gas fields. They are fast because they had tp escape large predatory cats. These were big birds, and they migrated in huge flocks. People would go on shooting parties and kill massive amounts of birds. These birds were perfectly adapted to forested regions. They were abundant feeders on acorbs and nuts. Their landscape was fragmented into smaller and smaller chunks. Theres enough reforestation in eastern north americs that they could do well today. They are relatives of rabbits and they live on mountain tops and chirp. They need the cool temperatures of the high mountains, they have low metabolic rates and they produce lots amount of internal heat. Left graph is what is present on each mountain. Right is where each arrow is how habitat area shrinks with each warming.
