Functioning of a system in which people give consent. For the most part, people will not steal. Some people would, but end up going to jail. If a person is rich, they agree with inequality. If someone is poor, they go against inequality. Watched youtube video: dog dancing the merengue original. A dog is very consentful it is very obedient. The dog doesn"t really know how to dance the merengue, he only knows how to dance it with its master. The dog hasn"t learnt anything but to obey its master. How the public"s consent to the current social order is gained. Because of fear we know we may be punished. In order for society to function, we like order and we would rather have order and inequality rather than disorder and equality. E. g. the strike they want equality, but university wants order. Asked: what"s better for the ruler/prince to be loved or feared.
