Autonomic nervous system: sounds like automatic, automatic reflexes to things without thought, ex. Iron automatically retracts the hand: we can control it to a limited extent. Somatic system: sorta says autonomic system you do your thing, do what you think is right, but ever now and then it might interfere, ex. Individual neurons have organized itself into a human body bounded by skin: unified thing, complex system of interconnected living things. Neurons: send signals along, twitter has certain people you follow and watch what they are broadcasting, getting these messages and occasionally outputting information. Information neurons get is in the form of electro chemical changes: chemicals all have positive or negative charges, chemicals stimulating reactions that produce positive or negative charges. Every neuron tries to do one of 2 things:
