Thomas edison is one of the greatest and most creative american inventors who thought trivia was a way to assess intelligence and ability level. For this purpose he developed his own trivia test measuring the intelligence giving employees prospective. Herzberg and norman both had the idea of exceptional ability explained in different ways. A psychological test is a standardized measure of sample of persons behaviour. They are used to access the individual differences that exist in people"s abilities , aptitude"s ,interest , aspects of personality. A persons response to a test represent a sample of their behaviour. A person might not be at their best capability when this sample is being taken for a test. Example : he might be having a headache , some mental issues they are dealing with etc. Thus sampling process scores need to be interpreted carefully.
