Document Summary
3rd test is lab (4 long answer) and normal test. Y- dependant variable (always measure it twice to see the di erence) X-alcohol consumption (no beers or bare beers) (two levels) Y- fine motor ability (play operation sober then drink bare beers. You have to measure y twice to see the change. You have to do this while keeping z the same. Z-keep environment same, relaxation the same, questions the same. Progressive error: the di erence in scores is caused by progressing through the task ex. People judging for an hour but they r getting better while they are doing it or when people start doing push ups and by the end they are going to be doing worse. If you blow on hand you"re getting better. The problem with the dart board example is that you get progressively better causing progressive error. To control progressive error we are going to use counterbalancing.
