Thoughtbook: look at how kids are engaging in their activities, what activities each age groups are doing. Parents are unhappy with transgender discussions in kindergarten. The school boards stepped in and said the books fell in the guidelines, and says that gender identity does not need to be discussed with parents. They also say that it is a precursor to future curriculum. The book explained gender to be non-binary and explained transgender in a precise and clear way. The reason this came into the news was that a kids transitioned but a kid called them from their old name. that kid was sent to the principal"s office and her parents were called. 4 qualities of parenting: warmth showing emotion, share feelings, = more prosocial behavior, responsiveness = having a prompt, reliant parent. You will be there 4 your kid: control and discipline, discipline , power assertive using commands without reason.
